To perform a septorhinoplasty procedure, there are three main steps:

Before the procedure, you will have a consultation with your doctor to discuss your goals, outcomes.
After agreeing on the details, our medical staff schedule your operation day.
On the day of the septorhinoplasty procedure, the medical team will prepare the patient for surgery, beginning with general anesthesia. The surgeon then proceeds to correct the nasal septum and reshape the nose according to the predetermined treatment plan. After the surgery, the recovery process can vary depending on the patient's age and overall health. It's normal to experience some swelling and bruising around the nose and under the eyes.
It's crucial to follow post-operative care instructions provided by the surgeon to ensure optimal healing and results.
After the septorhinoplasty procedure, patients generally have some swelling and bruising, along with mild discomfort. It is important to apply cold compresses to reduce swelling and sleeping with the head elevated on 2 or 3 pillows.
It's also important to avoid strenuous activities for approximately 4 weeks and to take special care of the nose, avoiding pressure or bumps. Following the aftercare instructions and attending follow-up appointments are crucial for a smooth healing process. The total recovery may take up to two months, during which time patients should protect the nose from direct sunlight. This careful approach ensures effective healing and optimal results from the septorhinoplasty.
