Ensure your plastic surgeon is board-certified, experienced, and well-qualified to perform the specific procedures you're considering.
Make sure to provide a comprehensive medical history, including any previous surgeries, allergies, medications, and current health conditions.
Quit smoking at least two weeks before your surgery to avoid increasing the risk of complications and impair the healing process.
As your surgeon may advise you, quit taking certain medications, including aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), as they can increase bleeding risk.
Maintain a healthy diet and stay hydrated in the weeks leading up to the surgery to support the healing process.

After agreeing on the details, the medical staff will schedule your operation day.

On the procedure day, the medical team prepares you for the surgery by administering general anesthesia.
Incision patterns are made based on the procedures chosen:
Breast Surgery: Incisions may be made around the areola (periareolar), vertically down to the breast crease (lollipop), or horizontally along the breast crease (anchor) depending on the extent of correction needed.

Sutures or surgical tape are used to close the incisions carefully.
You will be provided with dressings, bandages, and compression garments to aid in healing and reduce swelling.

Use pain medications as prescribed by your surgeon to manage postoperative discomfort.
Continue wearing the recommended surgical bras, compression garments, or abdominal binders to minimize swelling and provide support to the treated areas.
Avoid heavy lifting and vigorous exercise for several weeks.
Drink water and maintain a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals to support the healing process.
Keep the incision sites clean and dry as instructed by your surgeon.

Swelling and bruising are normal after the surgery. Elevate the treated areas as advised by your surgeon and consider using cold compresses to reduce swelling. It will gradually fade over time.
