On the procedure day, the medical team prepares you for the surgery by administering general anesthesia.
For breast augmentation procedures generally different shaped implants are used. Some patients prefer the fat transfer to the breast as an augmentation method.
The surgeon starts the procedure by making incisions and separating breast tissue from the muscles to insert the implants. Common incision sites include: Under the breast (inframammary fold), around the areola (periareolar), or in the armpit (transaxillary)

Avoid strenuous activities and heavy lifting for the recommended period (usually 4-6 weeks).

Avoid raising your arms above your head or performing movements that strain the chest area.
